RSM Lowering Kit

Anyone have any information on the
RSM Lowering kit for 1995-1996?
I was quoted $790. Included were:
KYB GR2's
Lowering Springs (brand?)
Upper Strut Mount w/ bearing
Rear Springs
Leveling Arms
I was told it would be a 4-week turn
time on the kit.
I wanted to get Eibach 3845.140, but
no one has any left. If anyone knows
where the Eibach kit can be had, not
just advertised, please let me know.

Try DomesticPerformance.com they have a few things for the 95-01 auroras, they have Eibach lowering spings there. Are in stock I have no clue but they do custom make their springs to your specs, also some nice stainless steel gauges. Good Luck

The Eibach Pro-Kit #3845.140 is no longer in production,
and I have not been able to find any remnants of it.
Domestice Performance advertises one option, their
custom made springs for $499. Seems pretty steep for
a set of springs. However, since they are a low volume
run, I am sure that the cost from their contracted
manufacturer is pushing it up.
Domestic Performance told me that they insure compatability
with the specific OEM spring on my vehicle, where the
spring is identified by a 3 letter code on a tag on the
spring. You need to provide this code to them upon
ordering. There were as many as three different rear
springs used within one model year, and one of two
in the front. I cannot imagine that GM used more than
two spring rates for either axle, as that is all they had
for options at that time. These are most likely just
different manufacturers GM codes.
RSM's kit seems a little more sketchy on information, but
inline as far as pricing goes. The kit is $799 and includes
the springs as well as KYB GR-2's and strut bearings for the
front, and "new air lift shocks" for the back. Also, they
listed new rear leveling arms. This last item is a little
confusing, as they could mean new lower control arms, OR
they could just mean a new arm for the level sensor.
In regards to their rear shocks, the only ones I have found
on the market is AC-Delco (OEM fitment) or Monroe MA-822
air lift shocks.
When I priced this up on my own, based on the Eibach
pricing for springs, I came out about $300 better than the
$799 RSM kit. Using the Domestic Performance price for
springs, the RSM kit is closer to reason.
Since I cannot find anything else on the market except for
what the RSM kit advertises, I may go with my own
version of it with the Domestic Performance springs. The
rest I can get cheaper. I am not sure what RSM means about
"rear leveling arms", and I haven't hear back from them
about it. My level sensor is adjustable to this lower stance as
is, so I am don't know what else I would need.
