misfire detected again???

driving the other day the check engine light came on again and it was another misfire detected but only in cylinders 3 and 4 i changed the spark plugs and wires last time, i checked the distributor and its good. could it be bad gas??? or something in the fuel system any ideas???? fuel filter???

thats what the computer pulled out for diagnostic trouble codes misfire detected in cylinders 3 and cylinder 4

Hmm I didn't know that it could detect specific cylinders.
I can't come up with anything if the distributor,plugs and wires are all good as you say. Have you pulled the plugs out and looked at them? If so what do they look like? Black? Brown? White? etc

plugs are good and each one is almost identical in color to the other

next time you replace the plugs, make sure you gap them correctly so they have the correct spark and temperature when they spark and stuff like that. also check the resistance on your plug wires check the output of the coil (distributor)

bad fuel would most likely give u problems across all four cylinders not just two of them. and if u'r getting fine spark on 1 and 2 then yeah the dizzy should be fine. how about the contacts on the inside of the distributor cap for terminals 3 and 4? also could u have possibly swapped the wires for cylinders 3 and 4? and yeah the gap could have an effect if it's off on those two. temperature of the plug however wouldn't be related to the gap. i'm pretty sure misfire means no spark. so i'd say double check the rotor, the "contacts" inside the distributor cap, the wires for continuit, and the plug gaps. also take a look at u'r ground off the engine, make sure it isn't toasted or fraying.
