My spyder needs the clutch replaced. They want $800 to do it. I figured this is gonna have to be done a few times in the future, so might as well start learning. I was looking for a repair manual and I only find up to 2001. Has anyone of you done it? I have plenty tools and I am trying to do it myself. Do I need to remove bolts from flywheel (thru opening on case) before separating transmission from engine? Do I need to remove the driver side drive shaft? Thanks.

ive talked to a guy that has done engine swaps, turbo, and supercharger installs. he just replaced his clutch and he said that he would never do it again even if his life depended on it. he said no amount of money would make him do it again.
