Darn Seatbelt Warning Keeps Beeping!

My seatbelt warning light flashes on and off and beeps constantly. I've had the car for years, and it's been fine. Now it does it constantly, even when I'm wearing my seatbelt. I fastened every belt in the car to make it stop, and it just keeps going.
Any ideas on how to get it work properly? I don't really want to just cut the wires to the beeper and flashing light on the instrument gauge.
Thanks!

PS-My ride's a 1990 Civic LX.

have you taken it in for the recall on the seatbelt buckles, all the 88-mid 90 honda and acuras had a recall for the buckle and could release if you get in a wreck, id try that one

ALL HONDA-ACURA Vehicles have a LIFETIME WARRANTY on seatbelts. Take the car in, honda fixes them and picks up the tab. And your happy!

i would blow my head off if i had to listen to that beep if mine would not stop i would start tearing the dash apart with my bare hand it would stop or the car would burn

Thanks! To the dealer I go!
I'm just worried they'll say, "We only warranty the seatbelts themselves, not the electronic equipment that is beeping. That'll be $475, please."

nope the electronic has to do with the seat belt. On my lx the belt was retracting but the seatbelt wanted to lock up and it broke the inner track.
Dont worry the'll fix it up.

that beeping is easy to get rid of, just take out the beeper, above the mirror, 3 phillips screws and unplug

you couldcheck the wire under the seat that connect to the seat belt release and see if everything is connected and no wire have been cut.when i took out my stock seats the seat belt siren kept going off because the plug was unhooked.i ended up just pluging the beeper out from above the windshield
