well, i want to say thx again for the post and support. installation wasn't as bad i thought. curious thing though, what i believe to be the ground(black thin)wire was wedged between the metal of the column and a plastic cover of some sort. somehow the wire was pulled away from the bundle(wires)got caught between two non-moving parts, and broke. weird if not strange. i'll crystal ball that later.
now i'm off to the next adventure. why is there this mud like snuff in the radiator.................. i'll review some past post, because i don't think i'm the first w/this discover......... thx, U guys R great....... cscope

seems everyone i know with dexcool coolent gets that, that is why i think dexcool shouldn't be made, plugs every thing in the system.
i switched to the green stuff after flushing the crap out of my system.
i still lost my waterpump a week later but since then noproblems, i did it
about 100.000 miles ago,
but in here i recently heard its a defective rad cap,
weather true or not i will never know :)

1.) Perform a full reverse coolant flush.
2.) Replace rad cap with one from the parts store and not an AC Delco.
3.) Replace coolant with Dexcool. It is made to not be corrosive on our engine's internal parts.
