So far I have has great luck with this forum, man I can't believe I just found it. Anyways, my truck's floor gets wet in the rain and I have checked the firewall and floor for obvious spots and nothing. I was wondering if there are any common places to look. It is both the driver and passenger side right in the middle of the foot well (right in front of the bench). Someone said a windshield could leak like that, make any sense?

Leak could be from alot of places, including the windshield. What year is your truck?

I'd check the door seals, and check to see that the water channels around the doors/windows are clear of anything that could block them up.

Yes, windsheild could do it. Happened in my Ram, small leak in the gasket around the glass, would run a little ways down then drip in the same place every time. Just look for a water mark on the glass on the inside around the edges if ya haven't already.

It is a 1995 reg cab. The weird thing is that it is on both sides right in the middle of the floor. Not under the seat and not near the doors. I cant find anything. The more I look for it the more crazy i make myself.

That's the low point of the floor.....it's got to be coming from somewhere; since it's on both sides, that would seem to indicate it's coming from the front somewhere. It could easily trickle from the front, down the slope to the center of the floor, under the rug, and you'd only notice it when the rug got saturated.

It might be a good idea to pull up the rug near the firewall and have a look-see to find where it's coming down. That would help locate the area of the leak.

Yea, pull up the carpet and/or insulation if you have to. Water could be coming in through the firewall (who knows where) and running down it. Heck, it's even still possible that it's the windsheild and it's running to the floor behind the dash.

Just sit in the truck when it leaks and watch it leak. I spent hours in my little car watching but I eventually figured out where the leak was originating.

It was running down the plastic kick panel on the driver's side, like where the parking brake pedal is in a truck, and it was soaking the rug. During a day of raining, the water would make itself inside through a little gap at the bottom corner of the windshield, run in, pool a little bit in the backside of the dash at some point and then drip down the plastic.

I don't know if you've ever seen a Turismo before but you can't see the entire windshield from inside, and this is what mine was doing.

My 98 Ram 1500 leaked by the driver side suicide door and the rear glass. These were small gaps that required substantial rain to produce a noticeable sign that something was wrong. I had to sit in my truck for 45 minutes with a garden hose running over the cab before I found them. What a P.I.T.A!

well...my 90 ram has a major rust problem on the front drip rail. mine leaks the same way....a puddle in the middle of nowhere....the definitive low spot puddling. now we know that our beloved dodges wouldn't be leaking without cause so check your drip rails and windshield. let us know

latest on the wet floor. the door seals at the top of the frame had worked its way forward, towards the windshield, leaving a gap at the edge of the door near the rear of the cab. Now the leak has dwindled down a lot but I am still getting some moisture, I think the rear windhield is loose.
