Kid just got a 2002 R/T and we went on a little trip. While going down the interstate at 75 mph noticed that it was running just a little under 3000 rpm. Is this normally where they run? Seems kind of high to me. It has the 3L with automatic. Our 2002 Bonneville was also along and it was turning 2000 rpm at 75. Thanks

I totally agree with other reply. It is only a 4spd auto, which I also have. More of of a wind it out kind of engine than your Bonneville.
