engine conversion

I would like to convert my 3.8L v6 1999 mustang cope to a v8 without buying a new engine. how would i go about doing this? thanks.

it is also an automatic but i don't want a stick shift.

yes, but i don't really know much about cars. or what could i do to make my v6 have more horse power? i saw this thing called the tornado and it you put it in the tube were your air filter goes and it spins the air like a tornado and help boost your hp and gas milage. does that think really work? the only thing done to the car is newer wheels and tires and new headers.

umm sorry to tell you, but thats not going to help one bit. as i recall sometime i remember someone found a page where they put one of those on and lost power...so theres your proof. as for getting a new engine without getting a new engine..i dont follow...unless you want v8 power out of a 6

You have four options on making your engine as powerful as a stock GT.
1) NO2
2) Turbo charger
3) Supercharger
4) Build up your V6
Stroke it to 4.2L, bump the compression up to 10.0:1
Get the heads ported and polished
get the upper and lower intake ported and polished
get a real cam in there.
get roller rockers
under drive pulleys
Aluminum flywheel
Electric water pump
bigger injectors with a matching mas
bigger throttle body
and a dyno tune.

That's your 4 choices, and going with any of those would be about as expensive as dropping in a 4.6L engine.
