Does anyone know where I can get instructions or pictures on tightening and changing the timing belt on a 1995 Isuzu Rodeo, 3.2 L? Is this something I can do by myself? Thanks...

You can't tighten the timing belt. If its loose then your tensioner is bad. As far as if you can do it yourself, no one knows your mechanical skill level. It's not terribly difficult, just takes some time. But thats coming from a guy that is VERY mechanically inclined. :grinyes:

The good news is that there's lots and lots of room to work at the front of the engine. No busted nuckles or blind bolts.
I bought the shop manual at the parts store and followed the instructions. Didn't have any problems at all.
If you're going to be in there anyway, you should also replace the front crankshaft seal at the same time. It's $10 well spent and it's right there when you get the old belt off.
