'92 Cherokee, 4WD, 4.0L. Anyone ever change out their rear drum brakes for disc ones? If so, let me know how it went. Any brand recommendations?

Your question makes me wonder if the brackets and parts from a newer JGC rear would fit. Maybe some one would pop in on this idea.

I just finished putting rear discs off of a 1995 JGC on my 1992 Cherokee w/ a Chrysler 8.25, all I had to do was open up the axle hole in the backing plate and caliper brackets, everything went together easy, had to bend metal hard lines to attach to rubber caliper lines. Bought everything at a junkyard for less than $100. Good Luck

P.S. When I get it completed, I'll repost on how it went.
