I bough a cold air intake for my 91 CRX Si. It is one of those where the filter is behind the bumper. There is a piece of plastic that's behind the bumper, where the new filter should go. how do i remove that so I can put my new air filter in there? Do I need to remove the headlight, the bumper or how? Also, do I need to secure the new intake somehow to the body, or how do I keep it from moving around once it's in there?

All you do is remove the bumper thats a few screws. 2 on each sides near the fender then 1 by each corner light. 3 on top by the radiator and last the ones on the bottom bye the skid plate. Taht removes your whole bumper.

Sounds like I'll just finish up tomorrow. I spent a lot of time trying to get that stupid thing out.

I didn't take my bumper off on my CAI, I just removed my splash shield from inside my wheelwell.

But it has two bolts that attach it. One of the is out, that's the one that's close to the wheelwell, and the other one somehow attaches it somewhere near the top.

yeah just take off the bumper and take out that big plastic crap tube. Oh and dont remove your impact bar if you have one.
