What engine should I swap for to put in my 97 camry, I'm looking for something I can turbo or something that is already got a turbo on it (3sgte t)

you would stand more to gian and less mess with just having a trd super or another type of supercharger installed.

Personally I would find a 1MZFE(3.0 V6) from a 03 and older and TRD Supercharger. The 04's have uped the horsepower but not the torque which accomplishes nothing till your at about 80. Even at that speed torque is still needed to go faster. Torque is what gets you and keeps you going horsepower helps keep you going. Which is EXACTLY why you see 1200lbft torque diesels with just a missley 400 horsepower.

The 3rd gen 3SGTE can make 265hp or more, and are even more reliable than the V6's. A 3SGTE swap would cost around $3000 - $4000. A V6 swap alone would run about $2000+, then you will still need to buy a supercharger at another $3000. After all of that, you would still be making about the same amount of power from the V6 as the 4cyl 3SGTE. So, if you factor in ease of swap, overall cost, power, and reliability, a 3SGTE swap is the way to go. Of course, that's just my opinion.

Check your dates bud. You're bumping threads from 2004.
(Quick FYI, the 3.0L superchargers are about $1500-2000 no used, or NIB. Plus a few hundred for fuel mods. All the 3.0L v6's sell for between $200 & 900usd.)
It would be much cheaper to drop a v6 in. It's done often in MR2's for around $2000.
While the 3s-gte's can easily make 320-350 horsepower, even the weaker 1mz-fe v6's can make 400bhp on good tuning with a turbo. Both the 3vz-fe & 5vz-fe can make 400whp+ off the stock bottom end.

Not saying there is a right, or wrong thing to do, but the v6 swaps are going to be cheaper. For the same cost as a 3s-gte swap (Which isn't including the cost of a new transmission), you can:
Swap a used V6, with an E-153 M/T (if wanted) / build a v6 (A54X) A/T for heavy duty use. Then turbo it with the money left over.
Either way, everything in the engine bay engine, transmission, or accessory related get's ditched during the process.
