In 1981 I bought a 1981 Toyota Corolla Hatchback, automatic, 1500 cc engine. It was a great little car for the 20 years I had it. In that time I'd put a little over 300,000 miles on it with VERY little work other than regular maint. The only major thing(s) I remember was having the brakes done and having a new radiator put in. In 2001 I bpught an Escort Sport. It has only 30,000 miles at present and I think I have replaced everything in the vehicle since I've owned it. It won't last another 50,000 miles! It was at the dealership almost monthly during the TWO YEAR warranty. I'd trade it straight across for my old Toyota. :yugosmili
