drwoned s-10 in creek....NEED HELP!

it rained real bad last week and i have to cross a low-water bridge to get home everynight, and well last monday..it wasnt a low water bridge.

i have a 2001 4x4 crewcab s10. and it drowned out in the creek and i sat there for maybe 20 minutes before anyone got there to pull me out and the water went up over my hood and i made it almost all the way thru before it drowned out, my front end was completely out and the back half was still in when it died and the water was as high as the bottom of the back doors. ive changed my oil and filter, my transmission fluid and filter(and yes there was water in both fluids) and im fixin to change my spark plugs. and it still wont start and my battery wont hold a charge either for some reason. CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME?

did you check to see if your getting spark? but ya your gonna have to replace a hole lot of stuff and the battery. you mite have fried something

water in the gas!!!!!!!

You might just have enough damage to look into using your insurance policy.

Take the ignition system apart as much as you can, and slowely dry everything off using a fan... or a low tempurture hari drier, even an electric heater on the lowest setting

Have fun, and just a warning, it might never run the same without replacing alot of stuff

yeah, i took my distributor cap off and there was no water in the distributor, i put one of those water removers in my gas tank. and ive changed my air filter and it had water in it and my truck starts to turn over when its hooked on jumper cables..but on its own it wont do it..but it never starts. it turns over and it gets to where it sounds like its gonna start any second..but it never does
