If you have some mechanical skills you can do it. you will have to take off the door panel off the car, which will include disconnecting the window switch. You might have to disconnect the speaker too. You then will have to take off the the plastic that is stuck on the door. You will probably have to reattached the plastic back on the door with duct tape when your done. You will then be able to see partially inside the door (w/a flashlight) what your dealing with. the window regulator is attached with heavy duty rivets. You will also have to remove some bolts. The regulator from the dealer will cost you about $125.00. Don't buy the cheap after market regulators they burn out too quick. Also you might want to go to a junk yard. In California we have "Pick-A- Part." You can walk in there and actually tear apart a door and see the part you wiil need. Sometimes people have already torn apart a door and just leave the a bad regulator lying on the ground. If your lucky you might just find a good regulator for $15.00. Happy hunting at the junk yard. If you have any other questions drop me a line.

cpainter described it pretty well. I just replaced mine today. The hardest part was getting those rivets out. After that it was pretty easy. I got a used regulator from the junk yard. Cost me $35 but at least my window works again.
