Prostart Clutch by pass

How are you suposed to by pass the clutch safety switch on a 93 Cavalier with a 3.1L. It has a hot wire on one side while cranking and all the switch does is allow the current to go through it when pushed. Any suggestions? I know I can just hook the two wires together but that will defeat the safety switch.
