Rattling sound driving me crazy! comming from suspension?

Hey,

for months now when ever i get a small imperfection on the road i can hear this extremely annoying rattling sound which comes from the wheel arch area, on both sides at the front. PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP! this is the most annoying sound ever!

My car does the same thing, i'm in the process of trying to figure it out. let me know if you did.

where do you think its comming from?

It sounds like the upper ball joints. If thats it your going to have to change the whole control arm.

Have either of you two changed your brake-pads recently?

i have, why you think it can be something to do with that?

Kick the tires and if you hear rattling its probaly the upper ball joints.

ivw hit the tyres with a stick really hard and nothing sounds! its only when i get inconsistencies on the road

do you have coil overs? is the locking perch loose and rattling (happened to my friend) are you sure its the wheel well area? rev your car up once and see if it does it still, could be a heat shield like on your cat. converter we see that alot at work...

yes i have coil overs, what i have noticed is that when i crank the car up early in the morning, it wont rattle for like 2minutes, then it will start to rattle, you still think it could be the coil overs?

I have Kyb shocks and dropzone springs on mine. I even bought kyb bumpstops and upper mounts. It's all put together to factory specs and still makes this rattling noise. my car is burried in snow just sitting so i'll get back once I figure something out.
