well if you have 4200 to spend .
you could go with the hotshot turbo kit.
but I would have to agree with200sxgti-r.
but if you just want 200 ponys for 4200 bucks and less trouble.or spend
3000 bucks and have a bbdet with turbo up grade ,and a few xtras with205-220hp.

What i was thinking about doing was getting a Sr20det and boreing out as much as possiable then getting a stroker kit to get as much power out of it then gettin a SR trans. and switch in it to manual..for kicks...then slapin on the biggest turbo i could find while lowering it and getting new brakes and suppension...carbon fiber the whole inside....racing seats in front then custom sound system.... u know.. except body i dont really want to touch it .... well if any an R33 body kit...then custom skyline lights front and back... then the rear fenders the little bump out that it does that would be nice... but thats my plan for it hopefull around 450-500hp would be nice and probably eventuall switch it to all whell drive... yes i know its a lot of work and blah blah rice.. i dont care i want a nice car.... by the way i am serious.... please leave all feed back.....

Wow that is a cool dream. hope you get there.
There is a stroker kit out ther for the sr. the 2.2 kit for turbo's
and 2.4 kit for N/A apps.
450-500? Well I have seen very few sentras at that lvl. one such person
on www.sr20forums.com has 429HP but that's not all turbo. there out there but you have to sink in $30,000 or more to see those numbers in a FWD SR sentra. And to boot you'll need PAR gear sets from www.JGYcustoms.com
to hold all that HP ,or you'll spend the beatter half of the summer rebuilding, and replacing you trannys.
the cat in the bag question? where to put your cat well you dont have much choice why do you want to move it?

ok ... my exhaust is set up where its the exhaust manifold then directly after that is the cat. then a little like 1 ft pipe that goes to the end of the exhaust going through a resistor... i read some where if you take the cat anf put it further down the line it actually gains hp... true or not i dont know...i was wondering if i do move it down the line will it change anything...

SR is the engine type. 20 is the displacement. DE is duel over head cam . and the T is turbo. :D So it's safe to say yes the sr20det has a turbo... and to make that many ponys you need money ave sr20det makes 205-220 stock form.

I forgot to add that it will run you 2500-3500 to swap it right. price for left to right is yourself@2500 ,and 2500-3500 for a shop now the shop can tune your engine .And for you it will be hard if you don't have the right tools.

Yes this has been done. but for the price and the timperment of the tuning to get the turbo's into sync will way out weight the bennys of a better one bigger turbo . You'll get better numbers from a single bigger turbo with the right tuning.350+ to put a number in the air.

Yes you can.But I don't now how,or where to start. I know a few people that have the new 1.8 turbo kit. IIRC it's hot shots kit. I here good things about the kit. And it will save you a grip of money to buy the kit and not to swap..To me the swap is a last resort for power gains. Try over at www.nissanperformancemag.com or www.nissanforums.com to find the people that have put this 1.8 turbo kit on. look under sentras ,and scroll down to QR18DE secton and look. or try www.hotshots.com hope this helps guys

why would you want to twin turbo a 4 cylinder SR20DE? doesn't make any sense..!!! none what so ever!!. just size the turbo according to how much power you want to make. if you got six or more cylinders then you can twin it.
you can put an SR20 in a B15 sentra 1.8 ...my boy has on in right now...it used to be turboed but not any more.

Well there are alot of ways to get the engine.
front clip will cost 1000-2200 bucks on ave. and this will give you all the things you need to swap. minus a few things usmd tranny and axles.
or you can get the engine with or w/o an harness. it all depends on what you would like .and how much you want to spend.
the higher price is about the cost to have a shop to put it in. itwill differ
from place to place not by much tho.
And yes you can do what you would like and noone can do anything
but it's been proven that is really not worth the headache. that's my :2cents:

and yes turbo technology has come far in such a short time. So will we see twin turbo's even in the 6 cylinders maybe not. But that 's not for you or I do choose for him. if he wants to do it let him. it's his money too. I'm just here to answer questions with out taking sides.
if you would like the pic I'll send it to you . Just give me you email address :grinyes:

yea but at the same time a little advice goes a long way. he obviously doesn't know much about what he is getting into. truth is it doesn't make eonomical, logical, nor practical sense to twin turbo a Fwd Sentra SR20DE. i am not saying it cant be done. i kmnow of twin turboed hondas. money is an issue for him so help guide him down the right path. the T-25 will support 250hp at high 12s low 13s. i ve seen people push more power through them. and if you want more power just get a bigger turbo. where are youi gonna fit two turbos in the engine bay? who is gonna make that custom manifold? dual wastgate? two cylinders are gonna power each turbo? or are gonna be sequentail.? in line? what are you really thinking? why stop at two why not put 4 turbos!!! one per cylinder!!!

It does indeed matter which year it came out of. If you just want to keep FWD on your B15 Sentra, I believe an NX2000 SR20 would work fine (Anyone else's input?)
Also, for B15 Sentra's (2000-2005) you can do a swap from a 1988 Nissan Pulsar GTi-R, and do an AWD conversion. However, this path leads to many difficulties, and in the car world, difficulties are expensive.
You'd be better off with a single turbo than putting a twin turbo on a 2.0L 4, but to each their own I suppose.
A Garret T3/T4 hybrid would be my personal choice for the AWD SR20 swap, as it has nice spool-up time, as well as nice airflow. A nice combination of turbine and compression wheel.

www.b15sentra.com. the qa16de or 1.6l. is a driffrent set up than the 2.0L or sr20de,sr20det,or sr20vet. and one turbo is the only set up you need. if done right and have the money you can push 30psi and 700hp out of sr20det or sr20vet. vet has driffrent heads oversea setup. but if you want to do the setup the cv axles the brakes motor mounts just about the whole front end needs to be changed out then have fon with the thrid petal setup. i`ll stick with my 1.6l and a jim wolf turbo.

700 ponys has never made it to a FWD yet. let along jun is the only
one to hit that mark.Note: with about 20,000 bucks you might start to see those numbers...! the most I've seen is 430 in a FWD. any more and you'll just sit there and spint the rubber right off the wheels. Not to add the par gears sets. for real people ! you'll end up killing yourself,or your pocket book. I think it would be safe to say 205- 300 is the max most will ever need and would spend due to the money needed go above 300...HP!
