im putin an aftermarket air filter in my car (ya know the cone shped ones) well it fits and evrything, but there was this wire goin into my old filter box, not the wire that goes in the tube its a difrent 1, it goes right in the air filter box. wut is that 4?, is it importent?

its the Intake Air Temperature sensor. Make sure the sensor is hooked up and then zip tie it near your filter
