my truck isnt starting

can someone give me ideas why my truck wont start. i bought it friday the 10th and it ram fine after priming the carb. its a 1985 ram 1/2ton pick-up with a 318c.i. engine. it has automatic tranny. i changed the fuel filter, the spark plugs, air filter, and i put dry gas in the lines, but none of that seemed to work. from what i understand, the coils go bad on these trucks, but it started for me on friday, then once it was in my driveway it stalled out and it hasnt moved since. its cranks but it just wont start, and ideas? thanks.

Take the outgoing line off the fuel pump. Is it pumping fuel? Sounds like the fuel pump is shot.
