Turn signal light on 88 Accord

While replacing the headlight, I discovered that the bulb for the turn signal was out of place; the light and socket were not mounted in the hole in the turn signal light housing. There's a panel under the light that can be removed and I can reach up through it and feel the hole where the light and socket are supposed be seated, but I can't push the socket into the hole. This would be much easier if I could remove the light housing, or the lens. Can anyone tell me if it is removable? If so, does it just snap out or is it fastened by screws or some kind of fastener?

Probably held in by screws from behind or something...and I would assume that it would be easier to deal with if it were removed...unfortunantly, I don't have more specific information...but hopefully someone else does.
A haynes manual would probably help with this.
