99 gp hard to start after new injectors

I recently replace the fuel injectors in my 99 SE 3.1. I had a mechanic replace one a few months ago and the rest myself a few weeks ago because of a misfire problem. Before I replaced the other 5, the car would start up right away when turning the key. Now it takes a lot longer or a few times to start it. If I turn the key a couple of times so the fuel pump runs, it will start right away like it use to. It doesnt misfire any more and runs better than it did before changing the injectors. It just takes longer to start.

To release fuel pressure to replace the injectors I removed the fuse for the fuel pump, started the car, and let the car run until it quit, as stated in a repair manual. Could I have damaged something by doing this. Also I know that the injectors I used are not the same brand as the one the mechanic used. I dont know if that matters?

It seems like its not getting enough fuel when trying to start it. I checked fuel lines for kinks or bends but they are all fine and I dont see or smell gas leaking around any injectors or anywhere else. I also checked all vacuum hoses/seals and wires and all seem to be working properly.

Within the last year or so I have also replace the spark plugs, PCV valve, and Fuel filter, and recently the spark plug wires so I dont beleive any of these could be the cause.

What could be the cause of this problem?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
