Ground Wire Kits?

hey, i was wondering if i should get the ground wire kit from like HKS, or would a cheaper one i found for 40 bucks work just as good? its not from ebay, but dont all these kits work the same, no matter the brand?

why do u need a kit to run a ground wire?

IMO I'd make my own grounding kit. Get some 4 guage wire, there are wires from the battery to the chassis, then to the tranny, block, and the valve cover if im not mistaken. It will be hella cheaper. Scrape the paint off where the wires bolt to, it will let current flow easier.

I have to be honest with you when I say that I have seen nothing showing anything more than 1 hp increase form this. IMO it is not worth the time or money. :2cents:

well its not only the little hp increase, its supposed to improve idle, lighting, and audio. and for around 40 bucks id figure id try it. but since everyone says dont waste the moeny, imma buy a few other things. thanks for the help everyone.

the ground wires arent made to improve hp...they're made to improve the electric flow of your car...and yeah u can just get some 4 gauge wires to replace your stock wires if u wanna save a few bucks
