Hey people,
Since this forum is all about modeling I thought I might tell you about something I'm planning on doing. Right now I'm a senior in high school and I'm going out of state to college while many of my friends are staying in state. Here is my way of saying good bye to them:
For my BMW-loving friend:

Tamiya BMW Z3 Roadster
Painted in Silver.
For my ITR-driving friend:

Fujimi Honda Integra Type R 1995
He loves the JDM front end, it will be in red, left-hand drive with some custom decals.
For my Z-loving, manga-providing, Japanese-teaching friend:

Fujimi Nissan Fairlady 240Z-L
Painted in a metallic blue and some body modifications to mimic the S30Z (The Devil's Z) in Wangan Midnight.
Whaddya think? I have 5 months to build 'em. I hope I can do it. :)

I've also got to try to get some 1/24 scale rims for the Integra and Z.
I need something that resembles Konig Toxxin's for the Integra

What's important about the Integra's rims is that they have the red inserts.
I'm also getting some kind of BBS or other nice looking rims for the Z. Any suggestions? 70's cars aren't really my area. I'm thinking about these for the time being...

Looks like you are going to be very busy !!
The BBS wheels done in gold would like good on the 240Z

I made my roommate's 84 Thunderbird based on Monogram's drag racer. I grafted the rear 1/4 panel of Monogram 87 T-Bird Turbo Coupe to make the street version. I also arranged the dashboard of the 87 kit to represent the 84 model. Modification was quite extensive, and it looked pretty good when it was done. One thing I regret was that I forgot to take a photo of the model.
The 4cy Turbo from the 87 T-Bird kit was implanted to Tamiya's Ford Sierra to make my friends Merker for his birthday and good-bye gift.
And no, I'm not a surgeon.

Very nice, very clever. :D
Just make sure you can finish them in time. I have a kit I need to build for a friend that's been sitting for over a year now... :(
