1995 Suburban Side to Side Brake Pedal Movement

On my 1995 Suburban I have some side to side movement in the brake pedal. It will move about 1/2 to 3/4 inch back and forth. Any ideas on how to eliminate would be great. It is more of a inconvenience than anything.
