Turn Signal

Any help would be great.
Randomly for the past week my left turn signal will blink two or three times faster than normal. After blinking really fast it will go back to normal. One thing I noticed is that when blinking fast, my back light does not blink, but the front does. When blinking normal, both function properly. What are the chances my light bulb is burning out? Could it be something more serious? How hard is it to change a turn signal in the rear?
Thanks.

A fast blinking signal is usually a sign of a burnt out bulb.
In your case it could just be a bad connection.
You should be able to access it from in the trunk - pull the carpet back and have a look.
Take the bulb out & clean the contacts or just replace it, their cheap.
