first, its header, we have inline 4cyl...not vX

ok, done this before but this is the jest of it so if i forget a detail sorry.
i think really youll only need
12mm 14mm maybe a 16mm ....cant remember...socket and wrench
o2 sensor socket
Lock Tight (gold)
more than likely wd-40 to remove bolts from 3 flange
patience with spring loaded bolts on cat... http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/images/smilies/banghead.gif>;
if you can, get your car on a real lift that you can stand under....REALLY HELPShttp://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/images/smilies/wink.gif

make sure car is cold (dont get burned dummy lol) and remove o2 sensor.
youll have about 10-13 nuts to remove from head that go through your exhaust mani. work your way in to the middle while just loosening them then proceed to (From the corners again) take them off. (not sure if order is specific when removing really http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/images/smilies/tongue.gif )
Now you can get under your car and remove the 2 spring-loaded bolts that join your lower pipe and your catalyc converter. next remove the "donut" flange gaskett thingy from between the lower pipe and your cat and place on the lower pipe.
Now you can remove your exhaust mani and lower pipe...maybe...some stuff may be in the way. if you can, have the car on a real lift, its super easy. i was able to play with it....if it wont just wiggle out, you need to remove the lower pipe which is usually held on by 3 bolts. if you could wiggle out the exhaust mani, then you can wiggle in the header and lower pipe, if not, sorry. just reverse process to install.
be sure to USE LOCK TIGHT!!!! this is very important that you do this becuase your head is aluminum and you need to loc tite the bolts. also dont forget to re-install o2 and work your way out when tightning then go back and torque your bolts....check your manual or online cause i dont remember torq specs. make sure to do this too b/c too tight means bad things for aluminum trust me
.....
ok, i think ive got most everything, hopefully someone else will come along if ive missed anything and correct me..... good luck man BTW, what brand header did you get? DCs? if so, good choice.
