X5 Trailer Hitch Question

I need to add a hitch to my X5. I have seen the previous thread and it looked easy, but when I went to Hidden Hitch- their hitch apparently will not fit an X5 that has the proximity sensor bumper.

First- anyone know if this is true?
Next, any hitch known that will fit the sensing bumper?

TIA

THat is false as far as I believe.

And you can get a bumper at your local dealer and also if you do not feel confident installing it yourself they can also do that. Your be charged about 2-5 hours labor.

follow up to reply...
Have you installed the Hidden Hitch with a sensing bumper? Or know someone who has?
When you say bumber from the dealer are you suggesting installing a different bumper- one w/o sensors?

Sorry, I ment you can get a hitch from your dealer if you cant find a place that sells them. I didnt mean bumper. I vant remember if the X5 had sensors or not bur Im about 80% sure that it did. SO yes you can do it with a bumper that has sensors.
