Wiper quit

While driving recently my intermittent wipers quit and went to normal speed. Now can only get normal and high speed. Wipers will not park without me clicking the switch on and off. Also, even if left off, when I start the car, they sometimes start even in the off position.

Anyone experienced this and fixed it? I am leaning towards a new motor as the delay circuit is in the motor.

I had the same trouble with my wipers. The intermittent mode would work...well, intermittently. The wiper motor and linkage is mounted to a sub assembly that is fastened to the car with rubber grommeted bolts. You may have lost your ground in the connector. I checked this and when that failed to resolve, I replaced the wiper motor. About $100. aftermarket. Works fine now.
