I've been drawing toons for about 5 years as a home hobby/business.
Old school pen and marker guy who just switched to drawing vector toons.
Use the M/S EXPRESSION 3 program.
(Still have a lot to learn about digital drawing.)
Here's some of my stuff:

Thanks--The Mach 1 was a special request with 03-04 Mach rims.
The Charger is part of a larger Bullitt theme project, so it will get more details.
Still working on the 68 Stang.
The blue car really is not a Morgan-- it's an all made-up design just to test some motion effects.

Those look great.
I love that yellow stang.
So you used M/S EXPRESSION 3? Is that a Microsoft product? Can you tell me a lil more? Does it allow you to render vector art?
Thx

Do you happen to have a 71 Chevelle rendering...I love the Charger...but yeah, just different wheels.
I would like to learn more about that program as well.....

Thanks--haven't done a Chevelle V-toon yet.
Got one somewhere in a sketchbook so I'll try one soon.
EXPRESSION 3 is a Creature House program, a company that Microsoft bought.
I'm using the free beta program, so it doesn't have as many features as AI (have that too, but never have mastered it).
M/S hasn't release a retail version yet, no clue when/if they will.
I've only been doing E 3 vector drawing for 2 months. Before that I have no real vector drawing experience--I signed up for the Adobe Ill tut but haven't finished it yet.
E 3 is much easier for me to understand than AI.
Could be 'cause I used M/S PhotoDraw 2000 for several years & E 3 seems very similar.
Here's the link to the EXPRESSION 3 site, (require M/S NET Passport to access the free download):EXPRESSION 3 home (http://www.microsoft.com/products/expression/default.asp?pg=home)

Great work! I like that Mach 1. I think your toons would look even cooler with some reflections on the windows and paint. Look at some of Kartoonz's art if you want inspiration. Looking forward to seeing more.

Kartoonz--GREAT toon work.
Are the designs done in marker/paint, vector, or some of both?
Your toon backgrounds are fantastic!
stuffbyalex--I've try adding window reflections, but just haven't found the right look yet.
I keep trying to add more reflections.

All my stuff is drawn first with pencil , then scanned into my computer , and then painted with COREL PHOTO PAINT 9

Thanks--your stuff has a great hand-drawn/painted look.
Very nice artwork.
(That's the same way I make my v-toons in EXPRESSION 3.)
