knock sensor camry92

hi everyone my camry le v6 has check engine light on i had it checkd in toyota dileship and they told me that the knock sensors are blown and estimated $1200 coast of the reparement. is it realy that hard these to be replased and is it posible that someone like me can do this withuot any special equipment

Before doing it, you also might consider going to Autozone and having them check the code. (they usually do it for free) Then if it is the knock sensor(s) they can tell you how much the parts cost.
