What is the least amount you'd spend on a GF/Wife for Christmas?
For me, the least would have to be probably $150. But I'll probably spend a lot more.

my husband is spending around $170 on me, it was an early present since he left today for 70 days and I don't actually have it yet. But I'm getting my windows tinted for Christmas. Kinda lame, but I'm spoiled and have everything else I want... and besides it'll last longer than other things he could've decided to get me instead.

Wow, are you rich? Some of the best gifts I've ever received probrably cost less than ten bucks, but they were cool gifts from great people. Want to enjoy Christmas? Stop competing with money.

It depends. I think one year I was around 40 bucks and another year it was around 5K. It depends on what I like to surprise her with. I like to do the practical but unexpected.
Its not about the price (of course you don't want to break the bank) but the thoughts behind it.

I don't buy anything for my wife ... and she does not buy anything for me. We usually go out and buy something together. 2 yrs ago - big screen TV, last yr - upgraded home theatre, this year we are talking about an XBOX or maybe remote-starter for the car.

Same here, always been that way. But last night, my wife ordered herself a new 2K Dell laptop for herself. Oh well. Guess I should have bought her something.

I actaully have no clue what to get my g/f this christmas. And being poor doesnt help either. What are you guys getting your wives/gf's that doesnt go over 150 bucks?
All she specified was that it CAN'T be: Stuffed animals, Pink, Purple, a hat of any kind, yellow gold, or chocolate.
I was thinking white gold... but then i thought to myslef, why spend the dough on gold that looks like silver, when i can get silver instead?

I got my GF a White Gold Bracelet last year, she loved it. It is some pretty nice stuff.
So I need to get her a new piece of Jewellery, not a Bracelet or a Ring, so I suppose that leaves necklace in either Silver or Gold.

one agrees.
It's the thought that counts.
I bought my dad a 16 dollar beer mug for his birthday last week.

I've come a long way too. Our first Xmas I hardly spent anything on her. Heck, I remember the first time I was with her for her birthday I took her out to a romantic dinner in the highest building in town, overlooking the city. It was great until I went to pay. My credit card didn't work so she had to pay for own birthday meal!!!! I was a poor college student at the time.
Anyway, I am lucky this xmas. She wanted a nice saltwater tank. I struck up a deal to trade one of my remote starters for this local fish store's nicest fishtanks!!!

You guys with the girlfriends. You're paying way too much for the same-o same-o. All that jewelry, just to have their future husbands pawn it. Tsk, tsk.

Hahaha, oh man never thought of that, however I'm a long-term relationship, so you don't really think about breaking up, you think about the future (moving in, maybe even marriage etc.), but I don't think spendin around $200 is too much. And last year she almost spent as much on me, giving me a Digital Camera, a breakdown kit (jumper cables etc.), and some other stuff, so it's pretty even.

This may sound kinda cheap, but we both just got back from a vacation and bought each other gifts there, it was her b-day at the end of Nov. and i bought her and engagement ring so we (she) said that we should buy something together for both of us for Christmas.
