Finished all except 2 small body details which don't detract from the finished appearance.
Finished with MCW light Gulf Blue and marigold, masked and airbrushed.

Wow! This is the most mean looking machine I know of, Think of that view in the mirror. One would get aside quickly, not to be eaten alive by it. I'll have to get me one of thoose...and that livery is soooooo sweet. Good job, looks fabulous! I once read in a magazine about a guy that converted a 917K to a road car, this was in the mid 70's and I remember that the spark plugs was like $15 a piece. He needed 24 for one change....phjuuu! Expencive car to maintain.

Brian, the kit is nice, the white roundels are translucent though so if one can double them up(as I did) with one underneath, it makes the world of difference.
I do recommend some planning before just building though, it's not a straight-forward kit, the body requires slight modification to all fit together nicely and the nose section should be glued together before spraying.
