Starter's

My car died the other night, and I have trouble finding a garage to work on it here in Canada. It has a ZC engine in it and I think I need a new starter. Does anyone know do I need an 88-89 Acura starter or just a regular Civic one.

I think you'll be fine with pretty much any d series starter.. at least with an si/dx starter..

Going off what marked001 said, there were two starters that came on the civic, a direct drive and a gear reduction, but there both interchangeable so if the place asks you witch one you have it doesnt matter.
