I looked over the forums if I missed this question Sorry..
I ran out out gas with my 2003 cavalier after putting gas in it now it will not start...

Do you hear the fuel pump hum when you turn your ignition to the run position? It should hum for a couple of seconds. If it does not hum, then perhaps it has failed. Sometimes when you run out of gas, your fuel pump will overheat and fail (it is the gas that cools it during normal operation). Let us know the results.

No sound .. But I was really hoping that the pump did not go out..So I guess I will drop the tank and replace it...

Anyone know how to remove/reinstall the exhaust heat shield? It looks like pop-rivet connections.
