1999 tacoma interior help

Well, basicly i have the most standered of standered of 1999 toyota tacoma's, the passenger side interior on the door is looking worn and im tired of the whole look of the interior. Whatever the stuff is called the rug on the door look is just not working anymore.
My question is, were do i even start to replace this stuff? im intrested in a custom job, some type of leather looking material green and some kind of baige maybe.
How much does something like this stand to run me?
What kind of shop/person should i see?
If not the custom colors/material... is there some sort of package that i can get that is ready to go?
can somesomthing like this be done by self?
