Review:
Radiator recently replaced, water pump replaced, reservoir and cap replaced, thermostat replaced with offset 180 with air bleed, temp sensor for electric fan replaced, water wet added to coolant mixture, system burped for trapped air. The only things I can think of that haven't been replaced are the fan clutch and all of the hoses. By all of the test I know the fan clutch seems to be OK. It is still overheating, as high as the red line today. I've been told by two mechanics that the head gasket is OK.
Anything else I might have missed???

It's possible there may be some blockage in one of the hoses or maybe in the engine itself. Does the electric fan kick on at all? Do you get heat out of the heater?

Yes, after burping the system the electric fan seems to come on when it is supposed to. Yes, I get hot air from the heater and the upper radiator hose is now hot. The coolant appears to flow pretty smoothly.

This sounds pretty normal now. Does the fan appear to turn on at the correct temp (around 220-230)? It's possible that the temp sending unit is bad.

The electric fan now comes on somewhere around 200-220. Also, it has a new sensing unit.
It was suggested that the new thermostat might be sticking but there is coolant flowing through the reservoir and the upper hose gets hot.

Just to make sure, I was referring to the temperature gauge sending unit, not the fan control sensor.

At one point my electric fan would come on, but the motor was bad, so it would quit running as the fan started to get hot. I replaced the fan, and everything was good.

I am not sure if you did that before, but check how you routed accessory drive belt. If incorrectly it will turn water pump in wrong direction and cause engine to overheat. Hope it helps maybe

Argh...
I'm dealing with the same issues.....
A buddy's dad said that a leaking intake manifold can lean out your combustion mixture.....making your car run leaner/hotter.
Or......maybe you need to remove the drain plugs from your block (water jacket plugs) and see if it's just packed with crud. If you've replaced all the things you mentioned.........and still overheat....it might be internal. Maybe even a cylinder head gasket with a small tiny leak?
