Im torn between a supra tt and a 300zx tt! Right now i have a 300zx na and am looking to get a turbo charged car! I really am torn between the 2 as both cars are amazing. Supras just cost so much more than a 300zx. Im not into the cars to be the fastest on the road, just want to have the whole package: handling, speed, looks, and ect. I was just wondering if any of u guys or girls had the same predictament i have and if u can give me some info on how you like your supra! Thanks!

I love my car, I would strongly suggest going another way if your looking for a good all around car such as a RX-7. They break down fairly often and are quite hard to find technicians who are willing to work on them being a rotary. A supra and a 300 are both great cars but their handeling is not quite up to par on ethier, when looking at a all around car I would recommending a 7 by far other than a supra or 300 if your not planning on modifying it. Good Luck

I would go with the Supra. A little pricey but plenty of bang for your buck. They also handle nicely.

go with the supra
MKII<--- all out autocross'n
MKIII<--- perfect price and handles like a charm
MKIV<--- expensive but if u have the money theres nothing u cant through at a 2jz that it cant handle

Why is it always the 300ZX and the Supra that everyone is torn over? No love for the RX7, the 3000GT/Stealth, Mustang, Camaro? How about a nice BMW M3, Z3, or the little known Subaru SVX? All can be had in this price class. People seem to keep asking about the 300ZX TT and the MK IV TT. Is there no love for the others?

Trust me, do yourself a favor and get an rx7 r1. It is the best all around car to use. If you do the math, it takes a full weight supra an extra 200 hp to outrun a full weight rx7. On top of that the weight differentiation is perfect, 50-50. And it still has a great appeal to it when it's going down the road. It's only draw back is the motor is very tempermental. But if your willing to do your own work and research on it or have a great deal with a tech who can work on it, it's the best way to go.
Take my word for it, not everyone on this forum actually owns a supra, most people play it off like they know what they are talking about. A supra is a very overweighted to compensate for the reinforcments for a targa top, wether the car has one or not, they are still there. On top of that, they are out-handeled by rx7's all day long on the tracks and pavement. The only real great thing about a supra is that it is a top end monster on the interstates and run exceptional times at the strips. I own two of them and love them to death, but that is what I like to do, go fast in a straight line. If you want a all around car, a rx7 is your best way to go.

I looked at getting a Subaru SVX over the MKIII. Try getting parts for them and when you do they are expensive.

That is true. My aunt had one. She got tired of waiting for repair parts so she traded in on a Mustang GT drop top last year. The one thing it has going for it though is that you get that look that says "what the hell is that thing" everywhere you go. It sure is fun to drive with that flat 6 and 4 wheel steer though.
