got 86 fx and need to be educated. plz

Hello out there, this is bobby and i got a 1986 Corolla FX, and i love driving this car, but i feel the need for more power. I would like to know what engine would be good. I have saved up for a new engine. Now all I need is someone with experience or knowledge with this car and im set. -thank you for your time
