Shiny Paint

I am currently in the process of changing my interior from Brown(yuck!) to black. I used some test pieces but the paint came out way too shiny. It looked fake or like I had a gallon of armorall on it. Does anyone know how to get a more duller OEM look. I used Duplicolor paint.

Use flat black, or just spray it with that, it'll start to dull after a while

Flat black is a good choice. I went from gray to flat black in my Civic by using Duplicolor Sandable Primer. It has the OEM look and the other good thing is that since it is primer, it wont really chip or flake off on you. It just sticks and dries fast. I would recommend you try that on a piece of your interior and see how you like it. If its too dull for you, you could always get a can of clear coat and give it one coat so its not too shiny. Let me know how it works out for you.
