seat fitting question

hey can anyone tell me if the 2004-2005 sti seats will fit into my 97 impreza....if not direct is there a way to switch the tracks so it will work? any info would be awsome...the sooner the better...haha xmas is coming soon!!!

Why fit STI seats, rather get something aftermarket which comes with universal rails.

Well, you could always take out a seat and try to fit the STi one in there... then you could give us an answer for the next person that asks. :-)

I doubt they'd know, since the part numbers would be different for the STi and the WRX seats. And even if the rails have the same number, they could be spaced differently. They would have to do the same thing you would; take a seat and try it to see if it works.

just to let everyone know yes sti seats fit in all gc8's, but beware the seat cushion is about 1.5 inches higher so you will have a higher stance than your stock seat....
