Holy flucking schnit - this is bad. This might be a re-post, but check it out: it said it's a Mercedes Benz CLK-GTR. This is what happens when u get some air underneath your front end goin 200 MPH

If it's the one I'm thinking of (haven't seen the vid) where he almost took out the sign over the track, he was fine. I was watching this race on TV live when it happened. after about 10 min there was an overhead helicopter shot of the car (came to rest on its wheels) with the driver sitting on the side of the car. Mercedes pulled out of the race after that werck, as it was the third similar type flip they had that weekend.
I would have thought they would have learned from the BMW LMP and Porsche 911 GT1 blowovers at Road Atlanta in the two years prior. All basically happened in the exact same set of circumstances, cresting a hill following very closely behind another car removing all front downforce. At the crest of the hill, teh front end started to lift, and once the underside of the nose got back into the airstrieam, over it went.

Yeh that makes sense I didn't think of the aerodynamics. Shows you the risks of drafting someone goin 150+ mph
