it takes the heater forever to heat up. anyone else experience these things taking forever to get up to normal operating temps, in the winter time ?

my air takes forever to get cold, cuz all the freon leaked out so i hafta put more in..lol

i think maybe your heater core is going out? have you checked it? probably needs replacement if its the original one

check and make sure the air mix cable and your heater control cable a switching like they need to.when mine did the same thing my air mix cable was unhook at its control lever which is located to the right of the center console under the dash hope this helps

does it take a long time for your engine temp gauge to go up to normal? if thats it.. your thermostat might be stuck open and that causes the car to take a long time to warm up.

pick a boring day and actually time it with a watch. see how long it takes in minutes at idle speeds to warm up.

mine takes a few minutes.. maybe 10 if i'm not moving? i'm not sure.
