haha "Is this legal?"

Anyone else ever went to get an inspection sticker and the guy has to go ask his boss "um.. Is this legal?" I just had that experiece. I know the guy who owns the shop, pulled up and theres some new guy out there I had never seen and I have my window down and he asks if he can help me and I told him I needed an inspection sticker. The guy kinda looks down at me car and says "hold on let me go get my boss". So he they come walking out, guys got a smile on his face because he knows me, and the new guy asks him "is this legal", refering to the fact that my front bumper sits 1.5" off the ground. He just kinda laughed and said "well... for this guy it is". So I got my inspection sticker and its all good now. I just thought it was really funny that he had to ask if it was legal.

lol thats awesome bro, i wished i knew someone like that so i could get my inspections stickers easy.

In texas all they check is lights, wipers, and horn unless your in a really populated city like dallas/fortworth or huston.

LOL that's pretty funny. My dad used to go to a guy who just "sold" him the sticker, never even looked at the car (literally never even looked at the car to see if he actually had the car). My buddy does that for me now. He works at a Mitsu dealership and he just slapped a sticker on it for me, and gave me a discount on it as well.

The only thing I'v never been able to get inspection on was my gremlin because it was running off the exhaust manifold. My buddy said he wanted to do it but the state troopers would have his ass lol.
