97 Altima wont start

Help!
my 2.4 wont start. Started with bad hesitation on low idle acceleration then all acceleration. Idle smoothly now wont start. Took to shop when hesitation started found no codes. Now that it won't start I pull a code of 41? Will this cause it not to start. I also have no spark from distributor to plugs and good spark from coil to cap. Have taken cap and rotor off and things look good under there! Cap-rotor-plugs-wire 12mos old.
Any suggestions!!
