i am toying with the idea of putting N2O on my stock D16 until i can get teh cash to either swap or turbo. i am wondering what shot, i any would be safe on stock D16 internals. I put almost 1000 miles a week on my car so i can't afford to do it if it will degrade my motor in a hurry. any help would be greatly appreciated.

less than 50hp shot will do fine

ask one of the other guys about the '50% rule'....i cant remember how it goes exactly but its something to do with no more than 50% of what your engines hp output is

example: b16a 160hp = no more than 80hp shot of nos
dont forget to change your spark plugs to a colder temp and maybe upgrading the fuel pump or injectors is a good idea

I just put a 40 shot on my accord... All I had to do was retard the timing 2 degrees and on or two steps colder with the plugs gapped at 35.... If you do ignition upgrade and fuel upgrade you can start adding a bigger shot.... I am going to do the MSD ignition and run a second fuel line with external pump for the fuel side of the N2O and then I can safely run about a 60 or 70 shot!!! The 40 made a huge difference.. But with the timing retarded it gets sucky fuel milage!!! So I change my timing when I am going to spray or going to the track or something ;) ......
