Tailgate Relocate

Anyone ever done a relocated tailgate handle? I wanted to do it, but I dont really like the kits. Is there any other way??

only other way is to mig weld the old handle up and start a new one with cables and springs. and to do that it will be customed so i dont know if you can do it yourself or not. the cheapest way to go is to get a kit. unless you have the money and get someone else to do it for you professionaly.

you can relocate it to the inside of the tailgate, or is that one that you dont like?
