I have heard alot of good things about these and a ton of bad. I have heard more bad things about them than good for that matter but since I have never had prior experience I will ask you guys. For those who don't know about it it replaced on the crankshaft and actually slows down your alternator, power steering and jazz and also increase horsepwoer by maybe 5-10 ish. So does anyone have one and are they worth it on 2.2's

From what i have heard on JBO... Do not purchase them if you are running a powerful stereo system. Nothing was noticed on Low end performance wise. But while in high gears there was a noticeable quicker pick up rate..

It won't affect normal and somewhat above normal usage.. Its just those running like 3 12's and 1000 amps that draw alot of battery power. With a deprived alternator not making as many revolutons it slows down the charge on the battery. With those Pully's you loose 2" from a stock belt.

i have the unorthadox racing under drive crank pulley on my 2.4 and it helped me w/low end performance. i have 2)12" subs & 1)amp,and it doesnt effect it at all;of coarse i dont pound it all the time. but over all its a good up-grade(remember its not nitrous) & 5 horsepower is sometimes un noticable but the pulley does help it to rev quicker, kind of like a lighter flywheel only cheaper
