dude,wheres my cupholder?

Did the early third gens not have cupholders?Mine doesnt and I spill shit everywhere.

will my 82 door frame line up with the copholders that came in the newer 3rd gens?That would be cool if they do.

i went and bought a aftermarket one that works okay.it also has an ashtray,and change holder.I took out my original ashtray,and stuck an eq in the hole.i had to cut some of the center column plastic up for the eq to fit.Next im going to run a condensation line to my center column,and store cold pop and ice in it.Itll hold a 6 pack of pop ,or three 20oz bottles easy

yeah my power inverter costed me 50 bucks,and itll handle up to 30 amps and it has two 120 vac grounded outlets.they make some pretty cool aftermarket cupholders.mine is mounted poorly,but i found out it would be very easy to mount one on the back of the center column,if front space matters.

I've seen some 3rd gens with the 4th gen center console in them. I don't know if is a bolt in deal or if some modification is required, but the center consoles in the 4th gens have the single cupholder in them. Also, the power window swithches in the center of the 3rd gens would have to be moved or fit in that 4th gen center console somewhere.

i wonder if my B&M shifter will fit into one of those newer ones,they have cupholders built in right?i like how my eq fits,i wonder if my eq will fit a newer console.i have it where the third gens have the ashtray.

I wish the third gens came with some kind of coin holder,I got change every where inside the center compartment which by the way has a lid that actually works!

Right under my headlight switch in my 82 bird,there is a little rectangle compartment.Whats its purpose,I dont know what else to use it for but my K.I.T.T hot wheel fits perfect in there.

my center lid was broken plastic junk,so i replaced its hollow platic guts with a piece of hickery wood,and i used wood screws to hold the rubber lid cover to the wood.Needless to say you can stand on my center column,and it looks kind of neat.the screws countersunk rather nicely.

Im going to have to Mcguyver that on my lid soon to because mine is about to break.

dont let not having cupholders get to you.. i have a cupholder and its worthless.. it doesnt hold nething right.. not even freakin cans.. so i just put stuff in 20oz bottles and lay it on the seat in front of the seatbelt clip and next to my leg.. works for me..

my cup holder is a change,and cigarette holder actually.

i stopped using it the first time i had a 44oz cherry limeaide jump out of it on the way home from sonic.

the only reason why i have my car is because i was saving to go to college.. i saved for about 4 years.. had about 4 grand.. and when my Geo Tracker that i also saved for about 2 years for took a shit i had no other ride.. so i sacrificed college for a decent car.. and i'd always wanted a camaro or firebird.. so when i seen this little sixer i snatched it up..

no i have two full sized cup holders,they just usually have a bunch of stuck together coins,and ashes and cigarettes in them.cause every time i try to put coffee or pop in them,myself and my interior end up wearing it

ive been thinking about keeping cold pops in my center column.at first i was going to use regular ice,then i changed off to water filled ice packs.but i think im going to replace my ice pack idea,with frozen capri suns.cause unlike the water filled ice packs,after the capri suns melt,you get to drink them all up.

I turned a capri sun into a slushy by sticking it in the freezer.Then i poured some captain morgan in there and it was gooood

i just got my air lines in yesterday.i have air shocks in back of mine,and im going to rig it up where my ride height can be controlled from the drivers seat.im placing a switch on the dash to turn the air pump off and on.im looking for a place to mount the air pressure regulator wich i will use to set the ride level.it has an air relief valve built in when you push in on the knob.The ride height will be adjustable by the turn of a knob.Im thinking about using an air pump from a lincon.

One time in my old cressida R.I.P I had a coin stuck with so much pop I literaly had to bust out the hammer and flat head screw driver to get the son of a bitch loose.

they are a lot quieter than those little plug into your lighter junk ones

UPDATE: I went to pick a part today and got passanger side and drivers side cupholders off a 92 firebird.I installed them and their bitchen.I also saw a raped 90 GTA,also a 84 trans am that apparently caught on fire while the dude was driving because their was no sighns of any accident.The whole engine was burnt to smithereens and so was the interior up to the front seats.My friend I think the people might have been burnt in there. :newburn: It gave me the chills.

I didnt like the gray cupholders in my blue interior so I went to wal mart and bought the new krylon fusion spray paint for plastics and painted them black.Now they match my black door sills ,window sills,and look better with the blue door panel.


I must admit,the dale earnhart movie i saw on espn today made me cry.
