e 46 air bags danger

i've sold the air bags in my 2000 328i . i took out the air bags in the steering wheel and the passenger side dash with no problems. my question is would it be smarter to sell the air bags with the door? the reason i ask is becuase the rear passenger side deployed while i was taking it out.scared the sh** out of me! but yeah is this common or am i just lucky? also do you think 600.00 dllrs is to much for the motor?

are you parting out ure E46?

Was the ignition on when you removed it? I have 6 years experience and have never yet had a airbag deploy . Your suppose to disconect the battery before any airbag repairs.

yeah im parting out e46. i think the reason it deployed was because while i was messing with the doors my friend was messing with they electrical under the dash. he says when he heard me yell he wasnt playing with any wires but i kinda think it was his fault or maybe im just lucky . yeah only have major parts left like lights body parts windows interior minus seats . im in so. cali and if anybody is interested in anything just email me im almost giving parts away. 1 more question i love the rear view mirror and i would like to put it in my starion has anybody played around with the self dimming mirrors? too frikken cool!!!!

does your car have NAV? or power seats, i am looking for power seats and ac control unit thats in e46's with nav
